Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent to abstain from voting because of a conflict of interest. Objections were heard and Senator Taylor was required to vote. The question being: "Shall CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 56(FIN) "An Act relating to minimum wages; and providing for an effective date" pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 56(FIN) Third Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 7 NAYS: 13 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Donley, Elton, Halford, Hoffman, Lincoln, Olson, Phillips Nays: Austerman, Cowdery, Davis, Ellis, Green, Kelly, Leman, Stevens, Taylor, Therriault, Torgerson, Ward, Wilken Olson changed from "Nay" to "Yea". and so, CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 56(FIN) failed. Senator Kelly gave notice of reconsideration.
